Hello my name is Arti. I use to be a professional basketball player before the transcendent happened. The transcendent is an event that occurred in the year 2050. This event changed man kind forever. Many people say the transcendent started with the evolution of computers. When I read back on history I feel it started when an astronomer and philosopher named Hypatia of Alexandria began to study Heliocentrism. Heliocentrism is an astronomical study of the Earth and other planets in the solar system revolve around the Sun. I feel this is when the transcendent started because we tried to figure out what is outside of our world before we can figure out what is inside of our world, this is when we as a human society lost control.
The transcendent appeared like it changed the world over night. The world of physical activity and interaction as we knew it no longer existed. There are refugees that live under ground that spread rumors saying, “The Higharchy planned the destruction of the world we once knew”. The Higharchy is a group of people that founded the new way of life for the human race. This group sets the rules, laws and culture we follow. There are no longer kings, queens, dictators or presidents no longer. The Higharchy are the leaders of the entire planet. Our lives are determined on the color of ball that we receive at birth. The people that were already were born when the transcendent emerged had to draw a ball from the Tumbler.
The Tumbler is one of the transcendent era’s invention. The maker of this invention is a brilliant inventor named David Lane. David lane was one of the 21st century’s top inventors. The Tumbler was his greatest invention. The Tumbler is self- think and self-decision making computer. The Tumbler does a body scan of a person and can determine what a person’s body will develop into and what their career path should be. The Higharchy believes they have the power to overrule the Tumbler if they would need to. However, the maker of the Tumbler designed it to be able to self-manage and self-defend if need be. There is one thing the Tumbler cannot do or sense well it is scanning a person. The Tumbler cannot feel or sense a person’s feelings. As Alan Turing says in Computing Machinery and Intelligence, “Thinking is a function of man’s immortal soul. God has given an immortal soul to every man and woman, but not to any other animal or to machines”. The Tumbler knows what feelings are and understands feelings. Although, when the Tumbler is determining a person’s fate it will not be able to determine how a person would feel with this fate.
David Lane never anticipated the Tumbler would change the fate of the human race. When the Higharchy approached him to see how his “computer” worked they told him they would use it to help people determine their career paths and help people having a more satisfying life. Dr. Lane felt his invention would help a lot of people in the world and would guide them to fulfilling career path. When Dr. Lane sold his invention to the Higharchy they modified the Tumbler to dictate the world to their advantage.

They put me through the Tumbler and the Tumbler suggested my leg should be amputated. The Higharcy took the suggestion of the Tumbler and had my leg amputated without my consent. Since the transcendent all decisions are made by the Tumbler and Higharcy.
The Tumbler and the Higharcy have taken the right of the people way and dictate how they want us to live our lives. If we as human can go back in time and make a change for the future, I believe the majority of us that are still living would do so.
