Hi.
I'm Roxanne, but I mostly am just known as "Rox."
I am a Psychology Major whose goal with all of this time spent at MtSac and wherever I end up after my Associates Program is completed, is to turn Hula into a legitimate Dance Therapy. I may share other online classes with others of you, so to you guys, my apologies for having repeated myself.
I am a writer, an ordained minister of all things strange and cosmic, a mom, "the Pineapple" (that's what my other half calls me), and one of those people who just wants to do her part in this madness called Life. Because of my background in working with Domestic Violence Survivors, naturally, those are the people with whom I do the very most dancing with these days. My opinion is that we are all here for a purpose, that we are here with that purpose to share in a mission with others most like us, who share many of the same gifts and talents given to us at birth by the very Cosmos Herself. Even as our lives serve us with pain that is not physical, and while it is that a lot of us have a hard time getting through those things that make us hurt to the core, life, in and of itself, is a grand gift meant to be loved, to be shared, to be experienced. We will go through things that we do not understand, yet through it all, for the most part and this applies to most of us, at some point, we understand that whatever it was that broke us, that made us cry as though we were in mourning, that made us believe that somehow, we were born to be a good example of a very bad example of a human being, we must remember that our lives are meant to be lived with purpose, even if it may well seem otherwise.
While I am not one to enforce my beliefs onto others, may you all be well blessed and may the Mother Goddess continue to reveal to you the secrets of who you truly are.
Live Aloha...
